Real Conversations. Trusted Support.

There’s a lot to take in as you navigate pregnancy, giving birth, recovery, and getting to know the new little person now in your arms. Even when you’re well-informed and supported, each phase brings new information to process, new decisions to be made, and plenty of unknowns. Your body is changing, your choices are evolving, and you’re preparing in every way for one of life’s most meaningful transitions. It’s a lot! Staying informed matters, and so does having a trusted source to help you process and apply what you’re learning.

These are just a few of the commonly asked questions we can talk through together during a consultation:

“What are the essential items I should register for that I’ll actually use?”
“I haven’t felt the baby move much today - should I be worried?”
“I think I lost my mucus plug but I’m not sure. Can I text you a photo?”
“How do I make a birth plan that’s realistic, but still honors what I want?”
“I’ve been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. What does that mean for my birth?”
“What can I do during early labor to stay comfortable and help things progress?”

Here’s How it Works

Sometimes your questions and concerns don’t call for a full in-person doula shift or you might just need some extra time and space to talk things through between provider visits. That’s when virtual consultations make all the difference.

Chiminh was such a blessing to me during such an important time in my life. I felt so comfortable with her from our very first meeting. I had so many questions and concerns and she was always so kind, caring and informative. - Ashley N.

Nurse. Doula. Educator. Mom.

Throughout my healthcare career, I’ve earned many credentials including a Master of Science in Nursing (MS) degree, Registered Nurse (RN) license, Public Health Nurse (PHN) certification, and Birth & Postpartum Doula (CD) certification. I’ve served as a Professor of Nursing for an RN to BSN program, and have advanced training in Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders and Lactation Management.

But most importantly, I’m a mom just like you.

I’m speaking (and serving) from experience. Before becoming a doula, I spent years as a registered nurse working on labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn care floors. For nearly three decades, I’ve supported families through birth and the early days of parenthood, both in hospitals and in their homes.

Over time, I built a strong reputation as an expert in mother-baby care…and then I had babies of my own.

No amount of clinical knowledge could have fully prepared me for the depth of this personal journey. Motherhood truly is the hardest and most beautiful thing you’ll ever do.

That’s why I do this work - not just with knowledge, but with empathy. I understand the questions you’re asking, the quiet fears you might not voice, and the incredible strength you’re drawing on every day.

You’ve got this - and I’ve got you.
