Virtual Nurse Consultations
Virtual support for anyone, anywhere! A convenient option for families craving professional support for pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting who don’t need in-home care. Have a seasoned Registered Nurse in your back pocket to answer questions as they arise with our private virtual nurse consultation service.
Birth Support
Led by a Registered Nurse, our doula team consists of highly qualified birth professionals who provide compassionate care and evidence-based support to mothers and their partners.
We’re proud to offer families a dedicated doula from start to finish (no on-call rotation!)

Placenta Encapsulation
Many new mothers report placenta encapsulation contributing to a smoother recovery and improved postpartum wellbeing.
Doulas of Austin’s placenta specialists are certified, experienced, and adhere to strict professional standards.
Postpartum Support

CLASSES
Childbirth Education
No matter what type of birth you’re planning – hospital, home, medicated, unmedicated, vaginal, cesarean, with a support person or alone, our course equips you with the information and tools necessary to approach labor and navigate your birthing options with confidence.
4th Trimester
In this comprehensive class, designed and taught by RN and owner of Doulas of Austin, you’ll gain the knowledge and practical tools necessary to meet the challenges of postpartum recovery and the early days home with your newborn as you find your new normal.
Postpartum Doula Certification
Led by a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience in mother-baby care, Doulas of Austin offers aspiring postpartum doulas a unique, comprehensive virtual postpartum doula certification program with the highest of professional standards.
